"Abysses of a failure body" is the miscarried attempt to capture and materialize in videos, photos, and objects the performance programs performed from a ruined world. The actions in the present of the immaterialized now set the performer's body and the different materials and objects in disuse of a junkyard in Guabiraba located in the outskirts of Recife together and show images of a "non-future". The attempt to hack the body together with these obsolete and non manipulable objects by weight, size, and shape is the mechanism that establishes an analog-digital fiction. The abyss is the time of this programmed obsolescence of things and objects within the Anthropocene and stresses the idea or construction of a human ontological identity that is, in fact, the fruit of the neoliberal, capitalist, hegemonic, and patriarchalist system of the North. The abyss is the search for other understandings or the attempt to make visible the destruction of these canonical patterns.
