ANTELOPE is a “PERFORMANCE PARLANTE” that agglutinates a series of experiments with sensors, movement, and noise.
To flee, to escape, to survive is the challenge of such ANTELOPE from this land, of this animal that, straying from the herd, seeks to find meaning for its (non)human condition. The question about its verticality, its counter-laterality, its reflexes, and motor patterns that (un)humanize it are the same as those of nature that destroy it. Where do we place our heads? How the orientation of the eyes makes us predators, hunters, destroyers, and a fundamental part of neoliberalism that consumes and enables the cooptation of everything. To bet on the dissonance and the radicality of invoking the animal becoming that never ceases to be dislocated. What is the phylogenetic connection of the Antelope that propels us to our human verticality? An ontogenetic short circuit to the species that enables potency and vitality in the body, its deformities, and otherness.
