The work emerges from a transdisciplinary study that articulates performance, image, and noise, based on the short story "The Flood", by Pernambuco's playwright Hermilo Borba Filho. "Flood" is a metaphor for the current human catastrophes: the indifference and failure of the world as we know it. It intends to retell the story through the materiality of the images and their transparency, using archival material to produce content that problematizes and amplifies the natural, migratory, and economic catastrophe with scenes of the floods in the city of Recife and the mills in the inland of the state.
"Flood" was awarded the prize “O Solo do Outro by” the Recife City Hall, in 2015.
